Cable Plow Operators

 

Seeking experienced cable plow operators to place fiber .  Need experience with a static or vibratory plow.  Previous experience with JD backhoe, mini excavator, ditch witch horizontal drill, or vac truck a plus.  Experience placing underground utilities useful.  Must be willing to travel within Utah, Idaho, Montana, or Wyoming.  Must have a CDL-A license with a clean driving record.  Must be able to lift 100 pounds and pass a pre-employment drug screen.  Wage DOE.  EEO employer.

Directional Drillers

 

In need of directional drill operators to operate a Ditch Witch Horizontal Drill. A qualified candidate will have a Class A CDL with a clean driving record, have previous horizontal drilling experience with ditch witch drills, possess excellent mathmatical skills, work well with others, and be able to lift heavy objects.  Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and have a good driving record. Wage is based on experience.   This position may report out of our W. Jordan location or our Syracuse location.  EEO Employer

 

Equipment Operators

 

Construction operator/laborer w/CDL A needed. Will do labor work with shovel, haul equipment or materials and work with construction equipment.  Experience pulling trailers, driving dump trucks or experience with construction equipment – specifically vac truck, backhoe, mini excavator, or ditch witch horizontal drill useful.   Experience placing underground utilities a plus.  MUST have CDL A drivers license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 100 pounds will be necessary.  Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Wage depending on experience. EEO Employer

 

Tower Tech Foreman

 

Opening for an experienced Tower Tech Foreman to perform cell site construction and upgrades.  Must be able to climb 300+ foot tower structure with tool load, recognize safety hazards, work in all types of weather, and have great verbal and written communication skills.  Must have 3-5 years cell tower experience.  This job will require extensive travel for several weeks at a time.  Prefer knowledge/certifications in sweep testing, fiber testing, PIM testing, and program RET actuators.  This is a physically demanding position, wage based on experience.  Must have a current drivers license and clean driving record and must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.  Wage Depends on Experience. Data/Telecom Technician

 

The ITS division is seeking a Data/Telecom Technician to install various types of network  telephone cabling inside and outside.  Qualified candidates must have 2 years verifiable experience in structured cabling field.  Will have experience with Cat 5E, Cat 6 cable and fiber, and low voltage control wire.  Be able to pull, route, label, dress out and test various types of communication cabling.  Will be proficient in proper termination methods, construct and install various types of racks, cabinets and fiber optic splice enclosures. BICSI certifications a plus. Interview may include a demonstration of abilities.  Position is full-time, day shift.  Job requires physical strength and valid driver license with a clean driving record.  Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.  Wage based on experience.  Benefit package available.  Apply in person   Monday through Friday,    EEO Employer.
