Sharlyn has been part of Team SCI since August of 1999. In this time, she has held a number of positions, and successfully climbed in the ranking levels of the administrative world. She has assisted numerous Project Managers with the operations of running crews from the Idaho border to Davis County in all areas of construction. She has been known as the “Crew Mom” or the “Mother Hen” as she continuously goes to great lengths to support each and every team member – from General Laborer to Project Manager. At any given time, she will be the first to admit that she’s “in her zone” in the construction industry. She has also pioneered the Administrative Assistant Process and Development Trainer position enabling newly hired team members to gain confidence to perform at their maximum potential. Sharlyn was chosen for this position as a direct result of her background in and love for the construction industry, her on the job training and her overall general knowledge of the company – not to mention her care and concern for all of those she comes into contact with. She has the ability and the knowledge required to show each one of our customers and prospective clients just how important they are. Her outgoing attitude and team oriented drive makes her a perfect fit to represent SCI in this position.
Sharlyn is a native to the Mountain West, as she grew up in several Idaho locations (Soda Springs, Mud Lake, Preston and Idaho Falls). In her early twenties, she spread her wings and got to experience the “big city life” in San Diego, California. Although her travels have shown her the New England states, Tennessee, New Orleans (before Katrina) and even the beaches of Baja California, Mexico, her family ties brought her to Utah in 1996. Sharlyn is married to the love of her life, a mother to a gorgeous little blue-eyed blond girl and a strapping young stepson who she is proud to call her own. She is learning to love the outdoors (thanks to her husband, a dedicated hunter) and has been exposed to trap shooting, archery, muzzle loading, hiking, fishing, and the like. Although, her true passion lies in the lights of Vegas (or Wendover) depending on the length of the weekend!
